behind the lens

A Sydney-based photographer, my journey with the camera has taken me to many different countries and has opened many doors and cupboards along the way. You see, photography for me is an extension of my curious nature and what better way to explore that curiosity than by analysing and documenting life through the lens of a camera?

Growing up in the Blue Mountains as a kid, my curiosity grew without limits. One of my favourite subjects at the time was insects in my backyard, but the content of my work has taken on many different forms since then, including obsessive collectors, hip hop icons and, more recently, breakdancing moves frozen in a split-second. My journey as a photographer continues to develop out of an endless curiosity with the world and how it all works.

So far I have had two solo exhibitions, both at Carriageworks, and I am constantly building on more bodies of work and ideas for various projects.
